Al-Hamdu Lillahi Thumma Alhamdu Lillah. Al-Hamdu Lillahi Alzi
Hadana Lihaza wama Kunna Lanahtadiya Law’la Ann Hadana
Allah. Al-Hamdu Lillahi Ghafiriz Zunibi Jamee’ihaa Illa Shirka
Bih, Wasalatu wasalamu ala rasulil’ahh".
(Praise is due to Allah. Praise is due to Allah who guided us to the righteous path, and indeed we wouldn’t have attained
this state of guidance without Him Allah. Praise is due to Allah who forgives all sins and misdeeds except associating
others with Him. Prayer and peace be upon the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH))
Now, Deliver Optional Lecture/Bayaan (In Local Language) – for 15-25 minutes
Start by saying:
“As-salámu ‘alaikum wa rahmatul láhi wa barakátuh!”
My Respected Brothers and Sisters… (Deliver Your Own Chosen Lecture).
(Keep lecture short and to the point with only 3 to 5 points. Initiate “Action” before you finish: Let people leave with a list of things to
do. Try to add at least 2 quotes from Quran and 2 Hadiths with references related to your topic. Add “Brothers and Sisters”, “O’
Believers”, “Dear Muslims”, & “Oh Servants of Allah”, before every paragraph and make sure to include a conclusion to complete the
speech. Find your own English Lecturs/Khutbahs online or use the ones provided on our site entitled: “30-Short Khutbahs” or just speak
from your heart about any relevant topic related to current events and issues or Islam in general.
English OR Any Local Language Lecture Conclusion:
Let us supplicate to Allah to bless us with the love for His Messenger and
help us obey Him and those He has ordained upon us to obey pursuant to
His injunctions: "O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger
(PBUH), and those charged with authority among you." (Annisaa:59).
May Allah bless you and me with the ability to implement the Holy Quran
and the Sunna of His Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him). I say this
and pray to Allah, the Almighty, to grant us forgiveness. Pray to Allah for
forgiveness for He is the Most Forgiving and the Most Merciful.

Make the intention to give the Juma Khutbah
Then, sit down on higher spot while the Second Azan is given
Then, stand up and start the First Arabic Khutbah and say:
“As-salámu ‘alaikum wa rahmatul láhi wa barakátuh!”
“A-úthu billáhi minash shaytánir rajeem.
Bismilláhir rahmánir raheem.
Then Say:
Sallalahu alayhi wa ala alihi wasallam wa ba’ad.
(“Innal hamdulillahi nahmaduhu wa nasta 'eenuhu wa nastaghfiruhu wa na 'uuzhu Billaahi min shuruuri anfusinaa
wamin sayyi 'aati a'maalina. Mayyah dihillaahu falaa mudilla lahu wa mayyud lilhu falaa haadiya lah. Wa ash hadu al laa
ilaaha illallaahu wahdahu laa shariika lah, wa ash hadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhuu wa Rasuuluh.”
All Praise is due to Alláh, We praise Him and we seek help from Him. We ask forgiveness from Him. We repent to Him;
and we seek refuge in Him from our own evils and our own bad deeds. Anyone who is guided by Alláh, he is indeed
guided; and anyone who has been left astray, will find no one to guide him. I bear witness that there is no god but
Alláh, the Only One without any partner; and I bear witness that Muhammad, sws, is His servant, and His messenger.)

Then Recite:
(Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem. Ya Ay-yuhal-ladheena 'aamanut taqul-laaha, haqqa tuqaatihee wala tamu tun-na, il-la wa
antum Muslimoon. Surah Al-Imran, Verse 102. O You who believe, – Fear Allah, as He should be feared, and die not
except as Muslims.)
Then Recite:
(Ya ayyu hannas utaqoo rabba kumullathee khala qakum min nafsiw wahidatiw wakhalaqa minha zawjaha
wabaththa minhuma rijalan katheeraw wanisaa-ah. Watta-qullahallathee tasaa-aloona bihi wal-arhama innallaha kana
'alaykum raqeeba. O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person, and from him He
created his wife,and from them both He created many men and women; and fear Allah through Whom you demand your
mutual rights, and do not cut the relations of kinship. Surely, Allah is an All-Watcher over you.)
Then Recite:
(Ya Ay-yuhal-ladheena 'aamanut taqul-laaha, wa qooloo qawlan sadeedaa. Yuslih-lakum a'maalakum wa yaghfir lakum
dhunoobakum, wamayyu-til-laaha wa rasoolahu, faqad faaza fawzan 'adheemaa. Surah Al-Ahzab, verses 70-71. "O
you who believed! Fear Allah, and (always) say a word directed to the truth. "That He may make your conduct whole and
sound, and forgive you your sins: he that obeys Allah and His Messenger, has then attained the highest Achievement."
[Suratul Ahzaab - 33: 70-71])

Before The First Official Arabic Khutbah, Recite:
(Bismillahi, Wal Ahamdulillahi, Was-salatu was-salamu 'ala Rasulillah, sal-lal-lahu 'alyhi wa sallam. I begin in the name of
Allah, and all praises are for Allah. May Allah's peace and blessings be on the Messenger. OR, In the name of Allah, and
exaltations be to Allah, and blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah, (peace and blessings be upon him).
Then, recite:
Sub’ hanallahi wal hamdu lillah, wala hawla wala quwwata illah
billah yu althi yual theem.
“All glory is for Allah, and all praise is for Allah; There is no power and no strength except with Allah.”

After First Arabic Khutbah, Recite:
(Aqulu qauli hada, wa astaghfirullaha li wa lakum walisairil muslimin, Fas taghfiruh, innahu huwal
Ghafurur Rahim. I say this saying of mine, and I seek forgiveness from Allah for me and for you, and for
the rest of the Muslims, so ask Him for forgiveness, He is surely the One who forgives, the most Merciful)
Ask the congregation to make a du’a (supplication) in Arabic,
By Saying:
"Id’oo Allaha Yaghfir Lakum Zunubakum"
(Make a supplication to Allah, He will accept your prayers & forgive your sins)
Now, sit down & do Du’a for a quick short 30-Seconds to 1-minute
to follow the Sunnah. Do NOT leave the pulpit.
(This time is used for forgiveness, which is why you recite a short du’a before sitting down, to inform the
congregation to repent during this time.) Drink a sip of water, if you wish.

Then Say:
Ameen. Aqeemus salaah! Innaa Asalata tanha anil fahshaa’ee wal munker,
(Addressing the muazzin – (the person that calls for the prayers) – to call for establishing (iqamah) prayers.)
Then finally now you can come down to lead the prayers.
Then say in Arabic:
Istawoo: Straighten your lines.
Istaqeemoo: be straight and upright.
I’tadiloo: align yourselves.
(OR Say in English: Make sure there are no gaps. Stand straight, shoulder to
shoulder, feet to feet. Please put children without wudhu at the end of the rows)
Start and Lead the 2-Rakath Friday Salah

Short 2-5 minutes of Supplications (Dua’s) After Juma Prayers:
Start by reciting:
Astaghfirul-lah. Astaghfirul-lah. Astaghfirul-lah. Allahumma antas-salamo
waminkas-salamo, tabarakta zal jalali wal-ikram
(I ask Allah for forgiveness. (3 Times). “O’ Allah, You are As-Salam and from You is all peace, blessed are You, O
Possessor of majesty and honour.” (AS-Salam: The One Who is free from all defects and deficiencies). Sahih Muslim: 591
If time allows: Say the Following:
First recite: Subha Allah(33 times), Alhumdolillah(33 times), Allah Hoakbar(34
times)
La’ilha illullaho wahdahoo la shareekalahoo, lahul mulku walahul humdoo wa hua
ala kulay shayin qadeer
Then say and recite:
“A-úthu billáhi minash shaytánir rajeem. Bismilláhir rahmánir raheem.
Sub’ hanallahi wal hamdu lillah, wala hawla wala quwwata illah
billah yu althi yual theem.
“All glory is for Allah, and all praise is for Allah; There is no power and no strength except with Allah.”
Then recite:

Rabbana zalamna unfusina, wa’inlum thughfirluna wathurhumna
lanukununa minul khasireen
Allahuma ajurni minnun nar
Allahuma innuka affuwun thuhibul affwa fa’fu anni
La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntoo-minuzalameen,

Subhanul lahee Wabihumdihee Aduda khulqihee Wa rida nafsihee

Last 3-Ayats of Surah Hashar.
Then Recite:
Rabbana Hablana min azwaajina wadhurriy-yatina, qurrata ‘ayioni wa-jalna
lil-muttaqeena Imaama O my Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes,
and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous [25:74]
Rabbana-ghfir lana wa li ‘ikhwani nalladhina sabaquna bil imani wa la taj’al
fi qulubina ghillal-lilladhina amanu Our Lord! Forgive us, and our brethren who came before us
into the Faith, and leave not, in our hearts, rancour (or sense of injury) against those who have believed. [59:10]
Rabbana innaka Ra’ufur Rahim Our Lord! Thou art indeed Full of Kindness, Most Merciful. [59:10]

Rabbana ‘alayka tawakkalna wa-ilayka anabna wa-ilaykal masir Our Lord! In Thee
do we trust, and to Thee do we turn in repentance: to Thee is (our) Final Goal [60:4]
Rabbana la tuzigh quloobana ba'da idh hadaytana wa hab lana milladunka
rahmah innaka antal Wahhab, meaning "Our Lord! Do not let our hearts deviate after you have
guided us. Grant us Your mercy. You are indeed the Giver of all bounties".[17]
"Allahuma’ Eghfir Lil’ Muslimeena wal Muslimat…. Stop for the congregation
to say AAMEEN" Almighty God, forgive the Muslim men and women
"Wal Moumineena wal Mouminaat…Stop for aameen" Forgive the believing men and
women,
"Al-Ahya’ee minhum wal amwat…stop for aameen" Those who are alive and those who died,
"Innaka samee’un mujibul dawat… stop for aameen" You are indeed the One who listens
and accepts all supplications"
Ya Allah accept our duas, namaz, and forgive us. Ya Allah, give us the pious
character and conduct, let us always speak the truth and never lie.
Ya Allah let us use our tongues and private body parts correctly and
properly, the way you have asked
Ya Allah give us all the health, wealth and happiness
Ya Allah give barakah in our income and commissions and increase it
Ya Allah help us to conquer the anxiety and depression of our daily lives.
Ya Allah cure us and protect us all, from all diseases, viruses, and problems
Ya Allah give us the courage, will-power, energy, and the long-life
Ya Allah give us patience, self-esteem, self-confidence, self-respect, self-
motivation, and self-tolerance.
Ya Allah give us Taqwa and positive thinking, and positive mindset.
Ya Allah help us and protect us from Shaiytan and from Shirk and keep us
all under your watchful eye, well protected without any problems

The Body of Juma Dua’s – (Optional Dua’s):
record our name amongst those who will be forgiven.
accept all our Dua's and widen our Rizq with lots of Barakah.
grant us the strength to fulfill our obligations to the best of
our ability and confirm our entry into JANNAH. Insha'Allah!
remove all our difficulties and ease all our tasks.
answer from His infinite mercy, all that we need and ask for,
from the dreams of our hearts to the prayers on our lips, to our every
expectation and aspiration we have.
protect and guide us; and keep us safe from all calamities.
grant us success and elevate us status in both this world and
the Hereafter.
grant us and us family good health and strength; and a long
prosperous life.
remove all our difficulties and ease all our tasks.
make us a shining example of a true Muslim and an inspiration
for others to follow.
Ya Allah, all believers that have passed away and the ones that are alive,
specially people present here today and our families and relatives and our
parents and brothers and sisters, please forgive all of our sins, send us all to
the highest level in Jannah, give us success in this world and the hereafter, have
mercy on us all.
O Allah, Illuminate the graves of all Muslims that have passed away, especially
our family members and parents and grandparents with nur and extend them
extra wide and long and when we die, let our graves also illuminate with nur
and be extended extra wide and long.

Then Recite Conclusion of Juma Dua’s:
Rabbana wala tuhammilna ma la taqata lana bihi wa'fu anna waghfir lana
wairhamna anta mawlana fansurna 'alal-qawmil kafireen, meaning "Our Lord! Do not
place a burden on us like the one you placed on those before us. Our Lord! Do not burden us with what we cannot bear.
Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our ˹only˺ Guardian. So grant us victory over the disbelieving
people"[16]
Rabbana taqabbal minna innaka antas Sameeaul Aleem Our Lord! Accept (this service, our
namaz) from us: For Thou art the All-Hearing, the All-knowing [2:127]
Aameen. Summa Aameen.

FRIDAY SERMON.Part I – English Translation: (by Dr.I.A.Arshed for The Sabr Foundation)
All Praise is for Allah. We too praise Him and seek His help and forgiveness. We have Faith and
Trust in Him. We seek Allah’s refuge against evil tendencies of our Selves and our bad deeds.
He whom Allah guides no one can lead him astray. And he whom Allah lets go astray there is
none to guide him. We bear witness that there is no deity except Allah, the One and without any
Partner; and we also bear witness that Muhammad (pbuh) is His servant and Messenger., Allah
had sent him with Truth, to give good tidings and to warn before the Doomsday. Whosoever
obeys Allah and His Messenger will be successful and well guided. And whosoever disobeys
either of them has gone astray. Such a person harms none save himself, he does no harm to
Allah. The best Word is the Book of Allah. And the best Guidance is that given by Muhammad
(pbuh). Good things are the firm (original) ones, and Bad things are those introduced later on.
And everything introduced later (in religion) is innovation. And every innovation is a deviation,
and every deviation is bound to Hellfire.
Now then, I seek Allah’s refuge against Satan the outcast. I start in the name of Allah, most Gracious, most
Merciful. Allah, in His Glorious Book, says, "O Believers, when a call is given for Friday prayers then hurry
up for Allah’s remembrance, leaving aside all business. This is better for you if you knew it. Then, when
the prayer is finished disperse in the land to seek Allah’s Favours (livelihood); and keep on remembering
Allah frequently so that you may succeed. When these people see a trade opportunity or a sportive event
they walk towards it, leaving you (Prophet) standing alone. Tell them that what (reward) is with Allah is
better than sport or trade, and Allah is the best Provider of livelihood.Allah, the Supreme and Great, has
spoken the Truth. May He benefit me and you with His verses and wise advice. Verily He is Supreme,
Magnanimous, Bountiful, the Master, Good-doing, Kind and Merciful.

FRIDAY SERMON.Part II – English Translation: (by Dr.I.A.Arshed for The Sabr Foundation)
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. And Blessings and Peace be on His Trusted
Messenger. So now, O group of Muslims, I seek Allah’s refuge against Satan the outcast, and
start in the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. Allah, in His Revered Book, says, "Allah
and His angels wish peace to the Prophet (pbuh), so O believers, you too wish him peace, and
submit to him completely". O Allah, send peace to Muhammad (our leader and our master) as
numerously as those who pray and observe fasts. O Allah, send peace on Muhammad (our
leader and Master) as numerously as are the people who sit and stand in prayer. O Allah, send
peace on all the Prophets and the Messengers, and on all Companions and Followers, and on all
your pious servants. O Allah, provide assistance to Islam and the Muslims. O Allah, help those
who help the ‘Deen’ of Muhammad (pbuh) and include us also among them. And disgrace those
who disgrace the ‘Deen’ of Muhammad (pbuh) and do not make us among them. O Allah, show
us the Truth as Truth and help us follow it. O Allah, help us see falsehood as falsehood and
help us avoid it.O Allah make us persevere in Islam. O Allah, enlighten our hearts with the light
of Faith. O Allah, forgive living and deceased believing men and women.O servants of Allah,
may Allah have mercy upon you. Verily Allah commands you to keep up Justice and Goodness,
and giving help to your near ones, and He forbids you from all things obscene or undesirable or
revolting. He advises you so that you may remember it. Remember Allah, He will remember you;
call Him He shall respond to you. And Allah the Supreme’s remembrance is sublime, best,
honorable, splendid, important and great. ---
